We offer loving care and nurturing of your dog
in secure and clean surroundings.
The dog kennels is a building that is situated far away from the cat kennels
which means that the dogs’ stays are not disturbed by our cat-residents.
The building is an insulated building with an attached play and exercise area
plus an enclosed communal grassy area.
There is a tiled floor plus a heating and cooling system in order to ensure the
optimal temperature for your dog.
Rooms:
All rooms (kennels) are made of
galvanized metal and lined with washable wood. The kennels are produced in such
a way that the guests cannot scratch themselves on them. The rooms are from the
floor to the ceiling and are sized from 4m² to 10m².
Double-kennels: These kennels are used for dogs from the same family or
dogs that are best-suited to being with a play-mate.
Single-kennels: These kennels are used for dogs that are best-suited to
being alone.
Kennels with free access to their own play and exercise area: We have
kennels that have their own access to their own play and exercise area, where
the dog can decide for itself whether it wants to be indoors or outdoors.
Outdoor kennels: We have outdoor kennels with their own dog-house that
are used for dogs that normally sleep outdoors during the summer.
Play and exercise area:
We have several play and exercise
areas, where the dogs come out and play during the day. These areas are made of
dog-yard building materials where the dogs can see one another. Many dogs play
here with other dogs. There are insulated dog-houses in the play and exercise
area.
Grassy area: We have a large communal grassy area where the dogs get outdoors
and play together. There are also dog-houses in this area.
Feed:
As an overall rule, we use only
quality food recommended by our vet.
The following complete feeds are offered:
Dry feeds:
Hill's Science Plan, Hill's Prescription Diet, Eukanuba with lamb and rice.
Wet feeds:
Pedigree P canned food and other varieties for guests that are particular about
their food.
Feeding:
All of the dogs are fed separately,
so we ensure that the individual dog gets what it needs without being stressed
about getting enough. It is therefore not a problem to give the dogs special
feed.
Care:
It is very important to us that our
guests have a good holiday here with us. Many dogs experience the best stay when
they spend time with other dogs, which is why, if the dog is able to, we pair it
up with a play-mate. We spend a lot of time on the dogs and talk to them, pet
them and walk them every day.
Our principal is that the dogs should be outdoors as much as possible, if the
weather is suitable. Even when the weather is less good, we are nonetheless of
the opinion that it is important that the dogs that are very energetic come out
for walks all the same.
We go walks with the older dogs several times a day as they are often too old to
play and keep up to speed in the play and exercise area.
At the time of reserving a place with us, we go out of our way to find out how
dogs are used to being looked after so that we can give the dog the best
possible holiday.

Small dogs:
160 kroner per day started for small dogs (Dachshund, Cairn terrier,
Danish-Swedish farm dog).
270 kroner per day started for 2 small dogs.
Hereafter, 110 kroner per day started for more small dogs.
Medium-sized dogs:
180 kroner per day started for medium-sized dogs (for example Cocker spaniel or
Beagle).
310 kroner per day started for 2 medium-sized dogs.
Hereafter, 130 kroner per day started for more medium-sized dogs.
Large dogs:
200 kroner per day started for 1 large dog (for example, German shepherd,
Hovawart, Labrador).
350 kroner per day started for 2 big dogs.
Hereafter, 150 kroner per day started for more big dogs.
Very large dogs:
260 kroner per day started for 1 very large dog (for example, New foundlander,
Great Dane).
440 kroner per day started for 2 very large dogs.
Hereafter, 180 kroner per day started for more very large dogs.
There will be a supplementary charge added for dogs in heat.
